Michael Albanese, Principal, is a long time resident of Beaumont, Texas. A Texan at heart, Mr. Albanese is proud to have graduated with honors from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. Mr. Albanese has been in the commercial real estate industry for over 20 years and is considered one of the country’s leading investment experts in regards to value-add opportunities.
In the late 1990’s, Mike and his brother, Eldon Albanese, began purchasing small residential and multi-family properties. Together, they purchased their first shopping center in early 2000. The Mid County Shopping Center is a 107,000 square foot retail center located in Nederland, Texas. Mr. Albanese continued to purchase retail, industrial and office properties using his very specific purchasing model and today, along with Thomas Cormier, has created one of the country’s most successful privately held commercial real estate companies. The company now owns more than 6.5 million square feet of assets throughout 25 states.
Actively engaged in commercial ventures early in his career, Mr. Albanese has accumulated years of invaluable experience in property investments. His ability to recognize the value potential for each property and proactively develop and manage those investments is a talent, which has greatly benefited both AIG and ACH as well as the companies’ tenant partners. Further, Mr. Albanese is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of a comprehensive plan for the entire portfolio which includes leasing, property management, NOI growth, redevelopment, acquisitions and dispositions.
Mr. Albanese has been instrumental in creating a full-service, vertically-integrated real estate investment company focused primarily on the development, acquisition, ownership and operation of high-quality neighborhood and community shopping centers in selected secondary and tertiary markets throughout the United States. The holding company owns a portfolio of operating retail properties, retail properties under development, operating commercial properties, a related Class-A office building and parcels of land that may be used for future development of residential or commercial properties.
Mr. Albanese, along with his Partners and staff, has created a strategy to maximize the cash flow of ACH’s operating properties, successfully complete the construction and lease-up or sale of the development portfolio, and identify additional growth opportunities in the form of new developments and acquisitions. A significant volume of growth opportunity is sourced through the extensive network of tenant, corporate and institutional relationships that have been established by Mr. Albanese over the last two decades. New investments are mainly focused in the shopping center sector. The company may selectively pursue commercial development opportunities in markets where it currently operates and where it believes the existing infrastructure and relationships can be leveraged to generate attractive risk adjusted returns.
Serving as principal of the Albanese Investment Group and Albanese Cormier Holdings LLC, Mr. Albanese is an active member of The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and also serves on the Board of Trustees for All Saints Episcopal School. Thomas Cormier, CPA, CGMA, Principal, is a long time resident of Southeast Texas. He obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting degree from Lamar University and began working at the public accounting firm of Cavett Turner. This engagement was brief, however, as he then accepted the position of Chief Financial Officer at Market Basket Food Stores, where he began managing the financial and business affairs of the local retail supermarket chain, for more than 27 years.
In addition, Thomas is the owner of Cormier Homes, the developer and builder of the Westwood Village and The Heights subdivisions in Lumberton, Texas, the Sterling Ridge community in Nederland, TX, and the Dominion Ranch community in Mid County. Not an individual to be limited to a singular purpose, Thomas also plays a key role as Principal of AlbaneseCormier, headquartered in Beaumont, Texas. His varied background compliments this experienced management team, composed of other Principals, Michael and Eldon Albanese. The AC partnership currently owns, manages and leases real estate holdings in roughly 6.5 million square feet in 25 states across the country, including retail shopping centers, industrial properties, a Class-A office tower, multiple land parcels and residential communities.
True to his financial background and extensive expertise, Thomas oversees all monetary aspects of the AlbaneseCormier organization and assists with the company’s various acquisitions and development projects.
Thomas will always consider his family to be his greatest achievement. He and his wife of 35 years, Melinda with their two daughters, Samantha and Tabitha, are members of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Port Neches. They remain faithful to their Southeast Texas upbringings by volunteering with church and civic organizations and focusing on the betterment and revitalization of our communities.

Clinton joined Albanese Cormier in 2023 as the Chief Investment Officer and is responsible for leading strategic investment and transaction activity including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings. He has more than 13 years of experience in the real estate industry previously serving as a Managing Director at HFF/JLL. In his role at both firms, Clinton was the leader of the retail investment advisory team in the Chicago office. He has completed the capitalization of a broad range of assets throughout North America with experience handling single-asset and portfolio-level sale transactions, joint venture equity placement for development as well as recapitalizations, and a variety of financing executions.
Over the course of his career Clinton has successfully closed more than $6.5 billion in commercial real estate financing and asset sales totaling over 40 million square feet.

Brandi is the Director of Leasing for the Midwestern Region. Prior to joining AlbaneseCormier, Brandi spent many years at Weingarten Realty. Brandi started at Weingarten Realty in 2003 in Property Management and was promoted to Leasing in 2005. Brandi won numerous awards during her 12 year tenure with Weingarten Realty and developed very strong national tenant relationships.
Brandi joined AlbaneseCormier in 2015 and specializes in big box leasing, but also has completed many mid-size and small shop transactions. She has worked with many national box tenants such as TJMaxx, Kroger, Fresh Thyme, Save-A-Lot, Walmart, Ace Hardware, Tuesday Morning, Planet Fitness, Crunch Fitness, Ollies, Burkes, Harbor Freight, Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, Goodwill and Bargain Hunt. She has also worked deals with small and mid-size tenants including Hallmark, Shoe Show, Hibbett, Smoothie King, Buff City Soaps, Verizon, Firehouse Subs, T-Mobile, Clean Eatz, Little Caesars, Cricket, Pizza Hut, GameStop and WellNOW clinic. Brandi has completed numerous pad site sales along with Ground Leases. She has proven to be extremely successful in securing National Tenant waivers to overcome lease restrictions. She oversees all trade shows and holds National Global Meetings with Tenants to insure our company is always aware of new opportunities. Brandi is always seeking new ways to create value in an already robust portfolio.
Brandi is an active member of Innovating Commerce Serving Communities (ICSC) and has held various roles within the organization. Jeff is the Director of Leasing- Southeast Region for Albanese Cormier. Over the last twelve years, Jeff has had the honor of working with Weingarten Realty, SRS Real Estate Partners and Williamsburg Enterprises. Jeff is a top producing broker year after year; earning the distinction of being named to the Costar Power Broker© list and receiving the award for both 2018 and 2019 for his performance and success in the industry. Jeff was also awarded the Q2 2020 Costar Power Broker Quarterly Deals designation.
Jeff is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), a Certified Commercial Investment Member student, pursuing the CCIM designation, and he participates in numerous charitable organizations throughout the year. Kristyn joined the AC team in March 2015. She serves as the Director of Leasing for the Western Region and negotiates renewals across AC’s entire portfolio.

Fer joined our AC team in October 2019 and serves as our Director of Marketing. She has a BA in Graphic Design and graduated in Mexico City where she is originally from. Sara joined the Albanese Cormier Holdings team in October of 2007. Prior to her position at ACH, Sara spent 4 years in residential real estate, first, as a real estate assistant for Remax Real Estate and then as an escrow assistant at Southeast Texas Title Company.

Ashley joined the AlbaneseCormier Team in March of 2019, where she is the Senior Property Manager of the Northwest Region. Martha Guzman, born and raised right here in Beaumont, TX, joined our company as our new Accounts Payable Specialist in April 2016. She will also maintain vendor records and review and audit expense reports.Before joining ACH, Guzman gained 12 years of accounts payable and receivable experience at PRN Medical and Well Supply.
