Michael Albanese, Principal, is a lifelong resident of Beaumont, Texas. He graduated with honors from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth and has spent more than two decades in the commercial real estate industry. Recognized as one of the nation’s leading experts in value-add investment strategies, Mr. Albanese has built a career defined by vision, discipline, and results.
In the late 1990s, Michael and his brother, Eldon Albanese, began acquiring small residential and multifamily properties before purchasing their first retail center—Mid County Shopping Center, a 107,000-square-foot property in Nederland, Texas—in 2000. From those early ventures, Michael developed a highly targeted acquisition model that has since guided the company’s growth into one of the country’s most successful privately held real estate investment firms. Today, alongside partner Thomas Cormier, the firm owns and operates more than 6.5 million square feet of retail, industrial, and office assets across 25 states.
Mr. Albanese has been instrumental in shaping the firm’s vertically integrated platform—spanning acquisition, development, leasing, management, and disposition—focused primarily on neighborhood and community shopping centers in select secondary and tertiary markets nationwide. His keen ability to identify underperforming properties, unlock their value, and drive long-term performance has produced exceptional returns for investors and tenant partners alike.
As Principal, Michael oversees the company’s strategic planning and portfolio operations, including leasing, property management, redevelopment, acquisitions, dispositions, and NOI growth. His leadership has been central to the firm’s expansion into new markets and asset classes, as well as its continued success in delivering high-quality retail environments that strengthen local communities.
Mr. Albanese also serves as Chairman of Amplitude Capital, which is the investment arm of the Albanese Family Office.
In recognition of his expertise and leadership in the real estate industry, Mike Albanese has been named to the TCU Neeley School of Business, Center for Real Estate, Board of Advisors. As a member of the Center’s Executive Council, Mike helps shape the future of real estate education by providing strategic guidance, mentorship, and insight into the evolving landscape of the industry.
In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Albanese is deeply involved in civic and community initiatives. He serves as a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the School Board of Monsignor Kelly High School, and the Board of Directors of the Neches River Festival. Michael, his wife Nicole, and their four children are active members of St. Jude Catholic Church in Beaumont and through the Albanese Family Foundation, participate in numerous local charitable organizations.

Thomas Cormier, CPA, CGMA, Principal, is a long time resident of Southeast Texas. He obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting degree from Lamar University and began working at the public accounting firm of Cavett Turner. This engagement was brief, however, as he then accepted the position of Chief Financial Officer at Market Basket Food Stores, where he began managing the financial and business affairs of the local retail supermarket chain, for more than 27 years.
In addition, Thomas is the owner of Cormier Homes, the developer and builder of the Westwood Village and The Heights subdivisions in Lumberton, Texas, the Sterling Ridge community in Nederland, TX, and the Dominion Ranch community in Mid County. Not an individual to be limited to a singular purpose, Thomas also plays a key role as Principal of AlbaneseCormier, headquartered in Beaumont, Texas. His varied background compliments this experienced management team, composed of other Principals, Michael and Eldon Albanese. The AC partnership currently owns, manages and leases real estate holdings in roughly 6.5 million square feet in 25 states across the country, including retail shopping centers, industrial properties, a Class-A office tower, multiple land parcels and residential communities.
True to his financial background and extensive expertise, Thomas oversees all monetary aspects of the AlbaneseCormier organization and assists with the company’s various acquisitions and development projects.
Thomas will always consider his family to be his greatest achievement. He and his wife of 35 years, Melinda with their two daughters, Samantha and Tabitha, are members of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Port Neches. They remain faithful to their Southeast Texas upbringings by volunteering with church and civic organizations and focusing on the betterment and revitalization of our communities.
Chief Investment Officer

Clinton joined Albanese Cormier in 2023 as the Chief Investment Officer and is responsible for leading strategic investment and transaction activity including acquisitions, dispositions, and financings. He has more than 13 years of experience in the real estate industry previously serving as a Managing Director at HFF/JLL. In his role at both firms, Clinton was the leader of the retail investment advisory team in the Chicago office. He has completed the capitalization of a broad range of assets throughout North America with experience handling single-asset and portfolio-level sale transactions, joint venture equity placement for development as well as recapitalizations, and a variety of financing executions.
Over the course of his career Clinton has successfully closed more than $6.5 billion in commercial real estate financing and asset sales totaling over 40 million square feet.
Vice President of Leasing

Jeff is the Vice President of Leasing for Albanese Cormier. Over the last twelve years, Jeff has had the honor of working with Weingarten Realty, SRS Real Estate Partners and Williamsburg Enterprises. Jeff is a top producing broker year after year; earning the distinction of being named to the Costar Power Broker© list and receiving the award for both 2018 and 2019 for his performance and success in the industry. Jeff was also awarded the Q2 2020 Costar Power Broker Quarterly Deals designation.
Jeff is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), a Certified Commercial Investment Member student, pursuing the CCIM designation, and he participates in numerous charitable organizations throughout the year. Jeff is a University of Houston graduate, with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing, native Houstonian, and avid sports fan. When Jeff is not in the office you will either find him on the golf course or traveling the globe with his beautiful wife Jennifer and their three sons (Jackson, Jordan and Jacob).

Kristyn joined the AC team in March 2015 and now serves as the Vice President of Leasing while simultaneously negotiating the renewals across AC’s entire portfolio. With over 10 years of experience in commercial real estate, Kristyn has established herself as a strategic leader, adept at driving leasing initiatives that maximize asset value and foster long-term tenant relationships.
She holds a BS in Finance from Lamar University and is responsible for negotiating complex lease agreements and optimizing occupancy rates across her diverse retail portfolio which includes Washington, Oregon, Utah, Iowa, Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Florida. Kristyn also leases our Class A, corporate office building Edison Plaza, headquartered in Beaumont, Texas.
Prior to Albanese Cormier, Kristyn served as Lamar University’s Cheerleading Coordinator, where she gained valuable experience in program development and public relations. Kristyn and her husband, Anthony, reside in Beaumont with their two children, Ava and Luke.

Scott joined the Albanese Cormier Holdings team in 2015 and is the Property Manager for the portfolio. He oversees all construction project details and constantly works with vendors and Tenants to maintain and improve the value of each property. Prior to joining the company, he served as a Project Manager for more than 25 years. Scott resides in Beaumont, Texas.

Fer joined our AC team in October 2019 and serves as our Director of Marketing. She has a BA in Graphic Design and graduated in Mexico City where she is originally from. She is responsible for our company’s marketing and communications strategies, as well as overall branding and image to drive sales and build brand awareness. She prepares annual marketing plans, creates calendar of campaigns and events, handles tradeshows and sets the marketing budget.
She is also in charge of providing tools and materials to enable the leasing team to function effectively, as well as managing and refine the company’s social media presence.
Fer resides with her husband, Steven, and her two children in Lumberton, Texas.

Sara is the Accounting Manager for Albanese Cormier Holdings. Sara is responsible for the bookkeeping and financial recording for all of the Albanese Cormier companies. Sara joined the Albanese Cormier Holdings team in October of 2007. Prior to her position at ACH, Sara spent 4 years in residential real estate, first, as a real estate assistant for Remax Real Estate and then as an escrow assistant at Southeast Texas Title Company.
Sara holds a Texas Real Estate License and is a Licensed Notary for the State of Texas. Sara is a passionate volunteer for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Foundation. Sara, her husband, Chris, and their son, Cade, all live in Kountze, Texas.

Christina, CPA, is the Controller for Albanese Cormier Holdings. Christina joined the Albanese Cormier Holdings team in January 2014. She holds a Bachelors degree in accounting (Cum Laude graduate) and a Masters in Business Administration with concentration in accounting from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas.
Prior to her position at ACH, Christina spent 6 ½ years in public accounting at Funchess, Mills, White & Co. Christina is a certified public accountant. Christina, her husband, Josh, and their children, Ella and Wade, all reside in Nederland.

Mark joined AlbaneseCormier in January of 2010. He’s held a number of positions with the company and currently serves as the property manager for our Class–A office building property, Edison Plaza in Beaumont, TX.. Prior to joining AC, Mark was the Vice President/ Partner of J&J Manufacturing Company located in Beaumont, Texas. Mark and his wife, Theresa reside in Village Mills, Texas.

Ashley joined the AlbaneseCormier Team in March of 2019, where she is the Senior Property Manager of the Northwest Region. She is responsible for the day-to-day operations of each center, including maintenance and repairs, tenant relations, property safety compliance, construction build outs, etc. She also maintains an open line of communication with all tenants to provide an excellent level of service.
Prior to joining the AC Team, Ashley worked as a leasing agent for Cypress Bend for 3 years, where she assisted in the daily needs of the property and communications with prospective residence.

Kryslyn joined the Albanese Cormier team as Property Manager in October of 2025. Kryslyn manages our commercial properties, she is responsible for the day-to-day operations of each center, including maintenance and repairs, tenant relations, property safety compliance, construction build outs, etc. Through constant communication with vendors and on-site managers, she makes sure each asset continues to operate in top condition. She also creates and maintains relationships with the company’s extensive tenant network to ensure their overall tenant satisfaction and success.

Kim is the Accounts Payable and Account Receivable Specialist. She is responsible for vendor communication, invoice reconciliation, payment processing and tenant relations company-wide. Kim joined the Albanese Cormier Holdings team in February 2015. Prior to her position with ACH, she spent 15 years in Washington State, where her background was customer relations and communication.
Kim also has 10 years’ experience in banking. She is a strong supporter of the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure Foundation and participates yearly in the Houston Race for the Cure with her husband. Kim, her husband Ronnie and son Kellen, along with stepchildren Dale and Shelby, all reside in Beaumont, Texas.

Emily McCoy joined our company as our new Accounts Payable Specialist in July 2024. Marti Lynch joined the AlbaneseCormier team on June 1, 2015 and serves as Executive Assistant to management. She obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Office Administration degree from Lamar University. Marti provides executive administrative support to management and assistance to the accounting team.
Prior to joining the company, Marti served as Executive Assistant to the Senior Vice President and CFO at Retail Investors of Texas, Ltd. for 26 years.
