region5esc1Beaumont, Texas – AlbaneseCormier Holdings, LLC, a local commercial real estate development company and owners of Edison Plaza, recently added Region 5 Educational Service Center to its growing number of high profile tenants in the iconic 17 story building overlooking downtown Beaumont.

Region 5 will take up residence in first quarter of 2013 on two floors of the only Class A office building in Southeast Texas. For more than 30 years, Region 5 has provided services to school districts in Jefferson, Hardin, Orange, Newton, Jasper and Tyler counties; including the High Island Independent School District; providing resources to  approximately 87,000 students and more than 6,100 educators. The Region 5 Educational Service Center joins other current Edison Plaza occupants that include; Entergy, Burrow Global, Inc., IRS, and Progressive Insurance.

The Albanese Cormier Group continues working towards its promised vision of Edison Plaza as a one-of-a-kind multi-tenant office building. Already the Plaza is undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation that includes a new building façade with a covered entrance and entryway facing Crockett Street with 50 added parking spaces.

Additionally, they are constructing modern office and meeting spaces, and other special tenant amenities to include a state-of-the-art fitness facility. The public will be able to enjoy a downtown Starbucks Coffee location along with breakfast and lunch service at the nationally recognized restaurant, Le Peep, opening later this fall.
