BEAUMONT, TX: Albanese Cormier Holdings adds two new national tenants to their lineup at Stadium Shopping Center in Beaumont, TX. Hibbett Sports will take over 4,080 square feet, while Dollar Tree will occupy 8,000 square feet of the 76,082-square-foot shopping center. Working closely with Jim Weir of The Retail Connection, Brandi Norwood, Leasing Director at ACH, secured both deals for ACH.
Dollar Tree, the largest and most successful single-priced-point retailer in the country, operates over 13,600 stores in 48 states and has nine distribution centers as of 2015. Dollar Tree also acquired Family Dollar Stores in 2015.
Hibbett Sports is one of the fastest growing retailers in the country. With over 1,000 stores in 33 states, each location is specifically designed to serve name brand products to its customers. Their fast-paced growth came to Southeast Texas in 2014, and this will be the 4th store to open in the area in just two short years. The other locations include one inside Parkdale Mall in Beaumont, one inside Central Mall in Port Arthur, and one on MacArthur Drive in Orange.
Both Dollar Tree and Hibbett Sports, which are already open for business, are expected to bring great activity to the center. The two deals have raised the center’s occupancy from 75% to 81%.
