Chinese restaurant opens second location in ACH center
Beaumont, Texas — East Golden Dragon Restaurant is another business that has found a home in the newly revitalized Westmont Shopping Center. After a total floor to ceiling renovation, the former TCBY space and an existing vacant space were combined and transformed into a buffet-style Chinese food restaurant.
Shirley Chin chose Westmont Shopping Center because of it’s popular location in the West-End to open her second restaurant, East Golden Dragon Restaurant. The Chinese cuisine restaurant offers almost 80 items on their daily buffet menu 7 days a week. The restaurant employs 5 full-time employees and 5 part-time employees. Albanese Cormier Holdings executives worked with Weingarten Reality to secure the restaurant space.
Westmont Shopping Center is located on the corner of Dowlen Road and Phelan Boulevard in the heart of Beaumont’s West End. With a population pull of over 100,000, Westmont Shopping Center is one of Southeast Texas most popular retail destinations. National tenants include Talbot’s, Black-Eyed Pea, Taco Bell, Burger King, Subway, Kolache Factory and Popeye’s Chicken.
