Acquisition Criteria

In our acquisitions program, we focus on expanding our retail, office, and industrial portfolios in markets where we currently have product as well as contiguous areas. Deals may be structured in a variety of ways to meet sellers’ needs.

We look for well-anchored neighborhood and community centers in primary, secondary ,and tertiary markets throughout the U.S. with population growth and upside potential. These properties can be supermarket anchored, value added opportunities, life-style, neighborhood, office or industrial.


  • Anchored community, neighborhood, infill power shopping center
  • 20,000 plus square feet
  • Multi-tenant including existing anchor stores (or facility which can accommodate this use)
  • Preference for properties where we can add value through lease-up, remerchandising, renovation
  • Strategic locations are required and supermarket and/or discount anchored centers are preferred
  • Primary, secondary and tertiary markets considered
  • Located at a major intersection of two thoroughfares

Geographic Preference:

  • Focus on South and Midwest

Deal Structure:

  • Flexible – will purchase for all cash, leveraged, or joint venture
