Beaumont, TX – Luke’s Icehouse, situated centrally along Calder Avenue near 7th Street, recently announced its much-anticipated expansion plans which began in late May.
The popular indoor/outdoor bar and grill plans to expand its courtyard, allowing for more outdoor seating, fire pits and a deck with additional raised seating. On the other side of the courtyard, Luke’s will also encompass the two-story house next to its current location, which will hold billiard tables, video games and more indoor lounge areas.
Beer connoisseurs should also take note – the newly expanded Luke’s will accommodate ten additional draft beers once construction is completed. Silver Gordon, the manager, says the expansion will allow Luke’s to continue hosting live entertainment events and will continue to allow them to try new things.
AlbaneseCormier Holdings purchased the Calder Avenue property in 2011. Previously home to Easy’s, ACH teamed up with Luke’s Icehouse and renovated the building and patio, transforming it into the space it is today.
